Creamy Tomato Pasta
Source of Recipe
Super easy and very yummy! A salad and garlic bread would round out the meal nicely.
List of Ingredients
1 lb of ground beef OR 1/2 lb each of bulk Italian sausage and ground beef
1 can of tomato soup
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
15 oz can of diced stewed tomatoes
2 cups (dry) of your favorite pasta, cooked al dente and drained (my favorite is rotini, the corkscrew noodles)
chopped onion and/or green pepper
fresh or canned mushrooms
mozzarella or your favorite cheese
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef (along with the onions, pepper and/or mushrooms if using), drain the fat off and return all to the skillet. Stir in the soups and tomatoes and heat through, then add the cooked pasta and stir til everything is well combined. Turn into a 2 quart baking dish (or a 9x13 dish) and bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes, until hot and bubbly around the edges.
Top with some cheese during the last 10 minutes if desired. Let cool for 5 minutes or so before serving.
