    Lemon Poppy Seed Bread

    3/4 cup water
    3/4 cup lemon yogurt
    2 tablespoons honey
    1 1/2 tablespoons butter
    1 tablespoon lemon peel
    2 teaspoons lemon extract
    3 cups white bread flour
    1 1/2 tablespoons dry milk
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted*
    3 tablespoons poppy seeds
    2 teaspoons dry yeast

    Recipe



    Place ingredients in the bread machine pan in the order suggested by the manufacturer.
    Select Basic bread cycle and start machine.
    Makes one 1 1/2 pound loaf.

    *To toast nuts, place in a shallow baking pan. Bake at 350*F (175*C) for 15 to 20 minutes or until oats are lightly browned, stirring occasionally. Cool.
