    Chocolate Silk Pecan Pie

    This pie has a rich, crunchy pecan layer topped with smooth chocolate cream. Make sure you chill it thoroughly, even overnight, before serving, so the chocolate will set.


    List of Ingredients




    1 9-inch pie crust
    1/3 cup sugar
    1/2 cup corn syrup
    3 tablespoons melted butter
    2 eggs
    1 cup chopped pecans

    Recipe



    Beat sugar, corn syrup, butter and eggs and stir in pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 350 degrees 40-50 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. Cool for 1 hour.

    1 cup hot milk
    1/4 teaspoon vanilla
    1 1/4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
    1/4 cup milk chocolate chips

    In blender or food processor, combine milk, vanilla and chips and blend until very smooth. Chill until slightly thickened. Gently stir chocolate mixture and pour into cooled crust over pecan layer. Chill at least 4 hours until firm.

    8 servings
