Orange Dreamsicle Cake

1 box Duncan Hines Orange Supreme Cake Mix
1 3oz. box Orange Jell-o
1 3-oz. box Jell-o Vanilla Instant Pudding
1/3 c. cooking oil
1/3 cup soft butter
1 cup half n half
1/2 cup pineapple juice (use juice drained from pineapple used in icing)
2 T Cointreau Liqueur *
1 8-oz. container sour cream
1 8-oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
1 c. white granulated sugar (DO NOT USE CONFECTIONERS SUGAR!)
1 8-oz. container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 9-oz. pkg. flake coconut
Preheat oven to 325. Grease and flour 3 9" cake pans.
For the cake:
Mix and sift together the cake mix and gelatin. Set aside.
Mix oil, butter, eggs, cream, pineapple juice and orange liqueur together.
Add cake mixture and mix well with mixer.
Pour into round pans and bake 30 - 40 minutes or until it comes loose at the sides. Let cool and then chill.
For the icing:
Mix all ingredients well with whisk.
Ice chilled cake.
Store in refrigerator.
* Imported orange liqueur from France. Similar to orange curacao. Clear in color. Nose of freshly cut oranges.
