    Recipe Introduction

    A small version of a tiered wedding cake makes a beautiful centerpiece and dessert for a wedding shower. But constructing one can be a time-consuming task for even for an experienced--and it can be prohibitively expensive to order from the bakery. We've developed an easy alternative: With purchased components, this quick, easy and beautiful cake can be assembled in less than 10 minutes!

    List of Ingredients

    Makes 20 Servings

    1 (10- or 9-inch) white-frosted or coconut cake
    1 (8- or 7-inch) white-frosted or coconut cake
    1 (8- or 7-inch depending upon size of smaller cake) tier set
    1 cup white frosting or shredded coconut (to match cake)
    20 to 30 edible flowers with leaves


    Place the large cake on a platter. Assemble tier supports, tray, and columns on cake following directions that come with tier set. Cover any visible plastic with frosting or coconut to match cake.
    Add remaining cake tier round and smaller cake.
    Decorate with flowers and leaves.
