    SUGAR CREAM PIE from David

    1 2/3 cup sugar
    1/2 cup flour
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 cup boiling water
    1 cup light cream
    1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    9 inch pastry shell


    Combine the sugar, flour and salt. Stir in the boiling water. Add the
    light cream, nutmeg and vanilla extract. Pour into pastry shell. Bake
    for 10 minutes at 450 degrees. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake
    for an additional 40 minutes.
