Pear Cobbler Recipe

2 1/2 Cups of sliced fresh pears
2 cups of sugar divided
4 ounces of butter
3/4 cup of flour
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of salt
3/4 cup of milk
Mix pears with 1 cup sugar and let stand. Put butter in 2 quart cassarole plate in 325 degree oven until melted.
Combine all dry ingrediants including the 1 cup of sugar. Mix well.
Whisk together milk & eggs combine with dry ingrediants.
Pour over melted butter DO NOT STIR . Spoon pear over batter. DO NOT STIR. Bake at 325 for 50 to 60 minutes.
Serve with ice crean or whipped cream.
