    Recipe Introduction

    This recipe is very delicious. Good with Ham.
    I make these potatoes for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
    You can also double this recipe.

    List of Ingredients

    6 medium Sweet Potatoes
    6 tablespoons Butter
    1/2 cup Brown Sugar
    Salt and Pepper to taste


    Cook sweet potatoes in boiling salted water for 20 minutes,
    or barely tender.
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
    Drain the potatoes, peel and halve length wise.
    Butter casserole dish and arrange sweet potatoes in the dish.
    Salt and pepper potatoes to taste.
    Sprinkle sweet potatoes with brown sugar and dot with butter.
    Bake for 30 minutes, turning the potatoes as they bake a few times.
    The potatoes will glaze as they bake.
    Serves 6-8.
