    3 large eggs
    1 cup dark corn syrup
    1/2 cup sugar
    4 tbsp butter, melted
    1 cup canned pure pumpkin
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
    whipped cream

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 350 degrees and place rack in center. In a mixer bowl, beat eggs on medium speed for 1 minute. Beat in corn syrup, sugar, butter, pumpkin and extract until combined well. Slowly pour into pie shell.

    Bake until a knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean, about 1 hour. Transfer to a wire rack and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with whipped cream.
