    Bacon or salt pork
    Corn meal

    � Cook bacon or salt pork in a frying pan to draw out the fat.
    � Extract the meat.
    � Mix fat with water and corn meal into a dough.
    � Fry in the pan or wrap the dough around a ramrod and hold over the fire till it bakes.
