Chinatown Sesame Salad Dressing
List of Ingredients
Use olive oil instead of extra virgin--the taste of the extra virgin clashes with the sesame oil.
1/4 cup Olive Oil
2/3 cup seasoned rice vinegar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/8 teaspoon cayenne powder
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
Recipe
Mix together rice vinegar, soy sauce, and cayenne. Gradually whisk in olive oil. When well blended, stir in sesame oil. Toss with salad, and then serve sprinkled with
sesame seeds. (You can toast the sesame seeds by heating them in a small skillet, or in a toaster oven tray--remove from heat when seeds turn golden brown.)
