Tortilla Soup

Tortilla Soup
1 lb. ground beef
1 small onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 cups water
1 1-lb. can of tomatoes
1 can (10 ounces) tomato soup
1 can (15 ounces) ranch-style beans
1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chilies
1 cup frozen cut corn or 1 can whole kernel corn
1 package (10 to 12) corn tortillas
Brown ground beef with onion, salt, pepper and chili powder and drain when finished browning. Return meat to pan, add remaining ingredients except for tortillas and simmer for one hour. Just before serving, tear corn tortillas into small pieces and add to soup. Simmer five to ten minutes with lid on. Serve hot.Recipe
