List of Ingredients
4 cups diced cooked chicken
1 Pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup finely diced celery
2 pears (or peaches), peeled, seeded & diced
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
3/4 cup chopped pecans, toasted
Romaine lettuce
Salt & pepper to taste
6 (6 inch) pitas, cut in half (to form pockets)
Recipe
Combine cream cheese, celery, garlic & thyme mixing well. Fold in pecans, pear & chicken & mix well. Place a layer of lettuce in the bottom side of each pita & spoon the chicken mixture on top, add another layer of lettuce & serve.
