    A tasty homemade treat your dog will love!

    List of Ingredients




    2 teaspoons or 2 cubes beef (or chicken) bouillon
    � cup barbecue sauce
    � cup cornmeal
    � cup wheat germ
    � cup hot water
    2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    � cup wheat bran
    2 cups whole wheat flour

    Recipe



    Dissolve bouillon in hot water. Let cool.
    Stir in barbecue sauce and oil. Add remaining ingredients to make a stiff dough (dough hooks work really well). Roll on cornmeal dusted cutting board to � inch thick. Cut with bone shaped cutter or any fun shapes. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

    Bake for 3-3� hours in a 250�F oven (120�C) until thoroughly dry. Cool completely before serving.

    Yield 8-10 dozen bite size treats.
    Prep time 20 minutes.
    Bake time 3-3� hours.
    Ready to treat in 6 hours (please make sure the treats are completely cool before serving).
