    Makes 6 small servings.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 1 cup soft bread crumbs
    • 3 eggs
    • 1/2 cup romano cheese
    • 2 tblsp intstant minced onion
    • 1/4 cup water
    • 1 1/2 tbsp parsley flakes
    • 1 tsp dried basil leaves, crushed
    • 2 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp pepper
    • ..........................Combine in a Bowl..........................................
    • 1/2 lb ricotta cheese
    • 1 egg
    • 2 tbsp dry bread crumbs
    • 1/4 tsp dried basil leaves
    • 1/4 tsp salt


    Instructions


    1. Brush the inside of a lof pan with oil, sprinkle bottom & sides with dry bread crumbs.
    2. Mix the first 10 ingredients and pat 1/2 of this meat mixture into the loaf pan.
    3. Combine the next 5 ingredients in a separate bowl, mix well.
    4. Spread the cheese mixture over the meat mixture leaving a 1/2" border on all sides.
    5. Top with remaining meat mixture. Press edges of meat layers together.
    6. Brush top with oil and bake at 350F for 1 hour.
    7. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
