Peanut Butter Cookies
Another recipe that my Mom, Pauline, gave to me years and years ago. They were a favorite of her grandfather's and once you try them you'll know just why!!
1 egg
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup creamy-style peanut butter
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup shortening
Beat egg. Add sugars and peanut butter. Add shortening, then flour sifted together with soda. Beat. Make small round balls and flatten with fork. Bake in preheated
350� F. oven for 15 minutes.
