    Calcutta Chicken Bake

    List of Ingredients

    • 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
    • 1 cup plain low-fat yogurt
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
    • 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
    • 3 tablespoons sesame seeds


    1. In a large glass or stainless steel bowl, mix together yogurt, cardamon, coriander, cumin and salt. Add chicken and marinate 20 minutes, turning once. Combine breadcrumbs and sesame seeds. Dredge chicken in breadcrumb mixture. Bake in lightly oiled 9-by-9-inch [or 7-by-11-inch] pan for 30 to 40 minutes at 350F.

    Final Comments

    Any leftovers reheat very well in the oven.
