    LEMON DESSERT (GOOEY)

    Recipe Introduction


    Ruth Roberts, another gooey dessert


    List of Ingredients


    • ---First Layer:
    • 1 C. flour
    • 1 stick oleo (melted)
    • 1/2 C. chopped pecans
    • ---Second Layer:
    • 1 heaping C. powdered sugar
    • 1 (8 oz.) pkg cream cheese
    • 1 C. Cool Whip
    • ---Third Layer:
    • 2 pkgs. instant lemon pudding
    • 3 C. cold milk


    Instructions


    1. First Layer: mix and press in 9X13 pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees, then cool.

    2. Second Layer: Cream together and spread on cooled crust.

    3. Third Layer: Mix with whisk, about 2 minutes, until just barely thickened and pour over spoon onto second layer.

    4. Top with Cool Whip and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
