    CHOCOLATE FROSTING

    Recipe Introduction


    From Crisco Can


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 C. Crisco
    • 1 egg
    • 1/2 C. cocoa
    • 1/4 t. salt
    • 4 C. powdered sugar (sift if lumpy)
    • 1/3 C. milk
    • 1 t. vanilla


    Instructions


    1. Blend Crisco, egg cocoa and salt.

    2. Add sugar alternately with milk and vanilla; mix until smooth and creamy.

    3. Add more sugar to thicken or milk to thin frosting if needed for good spreading consistency.
