    1 1/2 C Ketchup
    1 T vegetable oil
    1 T Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 C lemon juice
    2 heaping T brown sugar, packed
    1/2 tsp salt, optional
    1/2 tsp paprika
    1/2 tsp pepper
    1 tsp Dijon mustard


    This is an easy recipe for BBQ sauce. I use chicken. Mix all ingredients together. Place chicken pieces or ribs (almost a rack of ribs, cut in four rib pieces) in a non-metal baking dish. Pour sauce over ribs or chicken turn over to cover all of the meat and pour rest of sauce over all of it. Cover and put in refrigerator for a couple of hours. Take out of refrigerator about 1/2 hour before you plan on putting them in oven. Bake chicken with skin side up. Preheat oven at 300 degrees. Cover baking dish with foil. Cook for 2 to 3 hours. You may remove the foil the last 1/2 hour if you like. They come out very tender.
