--- Bread ---
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1/3 cup milk
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
grated rind of two lemons
--- Lemon Glaze ---
Juice of 1 lemon
1/2 cup granulated sugar


Recipe



For the Loaf: Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add milk and stir in dry ingredients and rind. Bake in loaf pan at 350 degrees F. for 45 minutes.

For the Glaze: Mix lemon juice with sugar and spoon over loaf while hot.
