    "Bell's Best Cookbook"

    List of Ingredients




    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    2/3 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 egg whites
    1 c. nuts

    Recipe



    Cook sugar, water, and corn syrup until it will spin a thread. Beat egg whites; add syrup slowly and beat until it begins to set. Add nuts and vanilla. Drop on waxed paper.

    Note: If you try this recipe on a humid day, it just won't set. I've never found a divinity recipe that will. -Teresa
