    Sorta Like Jim's Linguine

    Source of Recipe

Adapted from a recipe by Jim Switzer

    Recipe Introduction

My ex father-in-law made a linguine dish that I loved. I can never make it quite like his, but here's the "best guess" that I fix, and it's quite tasty in it's own right!

    List of Ingredients

    1 box linguine noodles
1 28 oz. can tomato puree
    1 small jar tomato paste
    3/4 cup olive oil
    3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 4 oz. jar minced garlic
    LOTS of oregano (to taste)
LOTS of black pepper (to taste)
    salt to taste
    red pepper flakes (to taste)

    Recipe

Cook linguine noodles according to package instructions. Meanwhile, combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Do not heat or cook the sauce. When linguine noodles are done, drain them and pour the sauce over them. Mix the sauce into the noodles, and serve with extra parmesan cheese on top.
