1 cup Crisco shortening
1 cup butter
3-1/3 cups sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup orange juice
2 teaspoons vanilla
6 eggs
8 cups flour
2 teaspoons salt
1 Tablespoon baking soda
1 Tablespoon baking powder

Recipe



Cream the Crisco, butter, sugar, lemon juice, orange juice and vanilla together and mix well. Combine the flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix well. Chill. Roll out on a floured cutting board. Cut into 2-inch circles and bake at 400 degrees F. for 6 to 8 minutes.
