1/2 - 1 lb. of ground beef
1/4 lb. bacon
1 large onion
2 cans large white butter beans
2 cans pork and beans
1 can dark kidney beans
1 can light kidney beans
1 c. ketchup
1 c. brown sugar
4 T. cider vinegar
2 T. prepared mustard
Recipe
Brown ground beef, onion, and bacon. Drain and rinse (this helps
break up the meat so it goes farther and gets rid of a lot of fat!).
Drain and rinse the butter beans and the kidney beans; add to ground
beef mixture. Add pork and beans (undrained). Combine brown sugar,
vinegar, ketchup, and mustard. Add to other ingredients and mix
well. Pour into a large crockpot (this fills up my 3 1/2 qt.) and
cook on Low 4-5 hours.
