    Pineapple lush Cake

    1 Store bought Angel Food Cake (I used low fat)
    1 can crushed pineapple (I used sugar free in its own juice)
    1 regular size box French Vanilla Pudding mix (I used sugar free)
    1 cup Cool Whip (I used fat free/sugar free)

    Cut cake into 3 horizontal layers and set aside. Combine undrained pineapple and pudding mix until smooth and well mixed. Stir in thawed Cool Whip and blend well. Place the bottom layer of cake on a cake plate. Add 1/3 of the pineapple mixture and smooth over the layer. Add the middle layer and another third of the filling. Add the top layer and remaining third of the filling. Cover and chill for at least an hour before serving. If desired, you may do as I did and top with additional Cool Whip and fresh strawberries as a garnish.
