Serves: 4 Combine equal quantities of hot cooked cabbage, and cut up cooked, hot potatoes. Add 2 tablespoons of chopped chives or 1 small onion. that has been chopped and sauteed briefly in 1 tablespoon of butter. Add salt and pepper to taste, and a lump of butter, and mix all well together. Turn into a greased casserole, sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese, and place in a hot oven for about ten minutes, or until the cheese melts and browns lightly. Allow 4 cups for 4 persons.
