List of Ingredients
1 2/3 cups flour
1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 TBLS baking powder
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1/3 cup butter, cut up
1 tsp almond extract
2/3 cups buttermilk
1/2 cup chocolate chips
fruit (i.e. strawberries)
In a food processor, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Add butter and pulse until crumbly.
Add almond extract and buttermilk.
Pulse until dough is moistened.
Add morsels and pulse a few times to combine.
Drop by heaping TBLS onto ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 425 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes or until tops are set and dry.
Transfer to wire racks to cool.
Serve with fruit and whipped cream.
