    1 cup shortening
    1 1/3 cup sugar
    1 tsp vanilla
    2 eggs
    2 1/4 cups flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 cup buttermilk
    3 medium mashed bananas

    Recipe



    Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and eggs. Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk. Stir in bananas. Spread in greased tube pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
