Chocolate Cherry Cake

List of Ingredients
1 2/3 cups flour
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup chopped almonds
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup maraschino cherry syrup
1 teaspoon vinegar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup maraschino cherries, chopped
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350.
Mix dry ingredients with a fork.
Blend in remaining ingredients except cherries.
Mix well and fold in chopped cherries.
Bake in an 8x8" pan until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
