Taco Seasoning Mix

2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp Chef Paul�s Magic Salt Free Seasoning
1 tsp chili powder (adjust to the desired heat)
� tsp crushed dried red pepper (adjust to the desired heat)
� tsp instant garlic powder
� tsp dried oregano
� tsp ground cumin
� tsp turmeric

Recipe



Combine all the spices. Use as you would those taco packets from the supermarket. This will spice 1 lb. ground meat.

I usually brown the meat and 1 chopped onion. Add the spice mix and � c water.

On KP duty last weekend I cooked up a big batch, divided it into appropriate 1-serving size and froze it. Will use over shredded lettuce with chopped tomato and chopped onion as a taco salad. I tried this for my morning snack and it was tasty but some fresh salsa would have enhanced the experience.
