1 can (21 ozs.) cherry or apple pie filling**
1 pkg. (18 1/4 oz.) yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/3 cup chopped walnuts (I use pecans)
Place pie filling in a slow cooker. Combine dry cake mix and butter (mixture will be crumbly). Sprinkle over filling. Sprinkle with walnuts if desired. Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours. Serve in bowls. (This is good alone or with vanilla ice cream on top).
**I've only tried it with apple pie filling, but I would guess that any can of any type of fruit pie filling would be good.
