    Quick: Sour Cream Cornbread

    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4 cup cornmeal
    • 1 cup sour cream
    • 1 cup flour
    • 4 tablespoons milk
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 egg, well beaten
    • 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
    • 2 tablespoons melted butter


    Instructions


    1. Sift flour and cornmeal; measure and add baking soda, cream of tartar, salt and sugar. Sift again. Add beaten egg, sour cream, milk and melted butter. Beat thoroughly. Pour into a greased 9x9 inch pan. Bake 20 minutes at 425.
