    Baked Cinnamon French Toast

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 loaf French bread, cut into 1 inch slices
    • 6 eggs
    • 1 1/2 cups milk
    • 1 cup half and half
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla
    • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
    • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
    • 1/4 cup butter, softened
    • 1/2 cup brown sugar


    Instructions


    1. The night before serving, butter or pam a 9x13 inch pyrex casserole. Arrange bread in a single layer and fill bottom of dish. Combine next 6 ingredients, mix well and pour over bread. Cover and chill overnight. The next mornings, remove casserole from fridge. Combine butter and brown sugar until well blended. Spread evenly on bread slices. Bake at 325 degrees for about 40 minutes. It will be puffed when done. Serve immediately.
