French Toast: Dutch Apple French Toast

- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 3/4 cup butter
- 3 tablespoons dark corn syrup
- 4 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 1 loaf cinnamon raisin bread
- 8 eggs
- 1 quart milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
Instructions
- Heat the sugar, butter and corn syrup until syrupy.
- Pour into a 10x15" pan.
- Spread apples over syrup.
- Cut the crusts off the bread and layer the slices of bread over the apples.
- Beat the remaing ingredients together and pour the mixture over the bread.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
