    Chocolate Buttermilk Frosting

    • 1 cup butter or margarine
    • 1/4 cup cocoa
    • 1/2 cup buttermilk
    • 16 ounces powdered sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1/4 cup chopped pecans


    Instructions


    1. Cook first 3 ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until butter melts and mixture is smooth.
    2. Remove from heat; stir in powdered sugar, vanilla and pecans.
    3. Yield: about 2 1/2 cups
