    FAMILY SWISS STEAK

    List of Ingredients



    1-1/2 lb 3/4" thick top round steak
    3 T flour
    1 T chopped fresh parsley
    1/4 tsp thyme
    1/8 tsp pepper
    2 T oil
    1/2 c onion sliced 1/4" thick
    2 med carrots, cut in 1-1/2 x 1/4" strips
    1 can condensed French onion soup


    Recipe

    pound steak to 1/4" thick. Cut in 6 pieces. Stir the flour, parsley, thyme
    and pepper together and use to coat steak. Heat oil in 10" skillet, add
    steak. Brown on each side. Add all remaining ingredients, reduce heat to
    low. Cover and cook till steak is tender, 50-60 minutes.
