    List of Ingredients




    Meat Sauce
    1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
    1 (8-oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 lg. clove of garlic - minced
    salt & pepper to taste



    Brown ground beef in large fry pan, drain off fat. Add tomato sauce, garlic and salt and pepper and simmer for 10 minutes, covered


    Noodle Mixture
    1 (8-oz.) pkg. narrow egg noodles
    1 (3-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 (8-oz.) ctn. sour cream
    1/3 cup chopped onion/(more or less to taste)
    1 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese for topping



    Cook egg noodles in boiling water according to package directions, drain off water. Return to pot and fold in softened cream cheese (may cut into small squares to ease mixing), sour cream and onions. Spray a 9X13 casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray. Spread noodle mixture evenly in bottom of casserole dish. Spread meat sauce on top-do not stir together, should be two separate layers. Top with lots of grated cheddar cheese. Bake at 350� for 30 minutes. Serve Hot. (Add a mixed green salad and hot, crusty bread to make a nice meal)
