List of Ingredients




5 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1 lb. lard

1 egg
2 tbsp. vinegar
and cold water to make 1 cup

Recipe



Measure flour, salt, baking powder, brown sugar into large bowl. Stir. Cut in lard until mix is crumbly and feels moist.

Beat egg in a cup, add vinegar and water to make one cup. Pour over mix. Stiring with a fork to distribute. Work dough until it will just hold together (Donot over work). Divide dough into 4 equal parts. Makes 2 pies.
