    24 hour Layered Salad

    List of Ingredients




    1 head lettuce -- torn
    6 hard cooked eggs -- sliced
    10 oz pkg frozen green peas -- thawed
    1/2 lb bacon -- cooked & crumbled
    1 C shredded cheddar cheese
    1 C shredded Swiss cheese
    1 C mayonnaise
    sugar

    1. In bottom of large glass bowl, place 3 C. lettuce; sprinkle with a little salt & pepper. layer eggs atop lettuce, standing some eggs on edge. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    2. Next layer in order: peas, remaining lettuce, bacon and cheeses.
    3. Spread mayonnaise over top sealing to edge of bowl. Sprinkle with sugar.
    4. Cover and refrigerate 24 hours or overnight.
    5. Garnish with sliced green onions and paprika. Toss before serving.
