An adaptation of the actual recipe used by Arlene Kuennen�Barbara's grandmother�to make the best honey cookies on the planet!


List of Ingredients




1-1/3 cups honey
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2/3 cup butter (room temp.)
5-1/2 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp salt

Recipe



Thoroughly mix honey, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and butter. Set aside. Sift flour, soda, and salt together, and mix into honey mixture. Chill overnight.

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. Roll out dough onto floured pastry board and cut into cute little shapes. Place onto greased cookie and bake for about 6-8 minutes.

Makes approximately 3 dozen cookies.
