    List of Ingredients

    6 large eggs, separated
    1 cup sugar, divided
    1 cup bourbon
    2 cups heavy whipping cream
    1 cup whole milk
    Garnish: freshly ground nutmeg

    Recipe

    1. In a large bowl, beat egg whites at high speed with an electric mixer until just stiff. Gradually add 1/3 cup sugar, beating until combined.

    2. In a large bowl, beat egg yolks and 1/3 cup sugar at medium speed until combined. Slowly add bourbon, beating until smooth. Gently fold in egg whites.

    3. In a large bowl, beat cream at high speed until almost stiff; add remaining 1/3 cup sugar, and beat until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in egg mixture. Stir in milk. Garnish with nutmeg, if desired.

Makes about 6 to 8 servings.
