    1/2 cup melted margarine
    14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
    2 [1 lb] boxes of powdered sugar
    [about 7 plus cups]
    3 1/2 oz can coconut
    1 cup finely chopped nuts

    Mix well by hand and cover bowl. Chill. Then roll into 1" balls and chill again..
    In top of a double boiler, melt:

    12 oz chocolate chips
    3/4 cake paraffin

    Blend until smooth and then dip chilled balls, speared with a toothpick, into the coating. Lay on foil-covered cookie sheets until set.

    Notes from Carol..
    You could use butterscotch chips instead. Paraffin comes in 1 lb. package with 4 bars. I sometimes use a candied cherry as the center and then wrap with mixture. Makes a nice addition to any dessert tray and a welcome gift if presented in little fluted paper cups..
