    this looks spectacular in a 3 qt. glass bowl or Trifle bowl...a real showstopper and so easy!!!


    2-3 cups prepared , crumbled unfrosted spice cake, muffins or gingerbread. Set aside one fourth for top garnish. Sprinkle 1 portion on bottom of bowl..

    In a large mixing bowl, combine and mix until smooth:

    16 oz pumpkin puree[2 cups]
    2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
    2 1/2 cups cold whole milk
    4 packages [3.4 oz each] instant butterscotch pudding. Set aside.

    Whip 2 cups of whipping cream [40%],very cold, on high until stiff in a pre-chilled bowl.

    Assembly:

    Spoon half of pumpkin mixture on top of crumbs in bowl. Then half of whipped cream. Repeat. Top with
    reserved crumbs and garnish with maraschino cherries. Cover and chill at least 2 hours before serving 12 people. You could use a large container of Cool Whip instead of whipping cream.
