Bourbon Balls
6-ounce package of chocolate chips, semisweet
3 tablespoons corn syrup (Karo Light used)
1/2 cup bourbon
2 1/2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs, processed/crushed finely
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup finely chopped pecans
Granulated sugar
Melt chocolate chips in double boiler. Add corn syrup and bourbon.
Combine vanilla wafer crumbs, powdered sugar and nuts. Add chocolate
mixture to the crumb mixture and mix well. Let stand 30 minutes. Form
into 1-inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Let ripen in sealed
container for several days. Makes around 4 dozen.
