24 small cloves of garlic, peeled (if thicker than 1/2 inch slice in half lengthwise).
a 1 to 1 1/2 quart enamel pan
1/2 C Rice Vinegar or White Vinegar
3 T Sugar
1 t Salt
Recipe
Add the garlic to vinegar/sugar/salt mxture in saucepan and cook 1 minute. Cool. Cover and chill 1 day or up to 2 weeks. To give as a gift: Place in a jar and cover with gingham and a raffia bow. �
