1 3 # Chicken �
Chicken Bouillon
1 chopped Onion
1 rib chopped Celery
Salt & Pepper
a dash Garlic Powder
a healthy pinch of Parsley
Boil until chicken is tender, debone chicken and re-add to stock.
Dumplings:
Self Rising Flour
Buttermilk
Recipe
Mix enough buttermilk into the flour (very moist, not dry) to be able to roll it out on a heavily floured board to about 1/2" in thickness.� Cut into strips and pinch pieces off and drop into the rolling boil of the stock.� By the time you do this to all of the dough stir gently to prevent them from sticking to the bottom.� They will float and puff up when they are done.� If desired when you have all the dumplings that you want, you can thicken the broth with cornstarch and water to desired thickness and correct seasonings, if necessary.�
