    Corn Bread

    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4 C. corn meal
    • 1 C. flour
    • 1 T. Sugar
    • 5 t. baking powder
    • 3/4 t. salt
    • 4 eggs, beaten with fork
    • 1 C. milk
    • 2 T. cooking oil


    Instructions


    1. Sift dry ingredients into a bowl. Add eggs, milk and oil and mix well. Fill well greased pan 3/4 full. Bake at 425� for 25 - 35 minutes.

    2. For crackling corn bread, add cracklings (fried fresh pork skins).
