    4 oz. cheddar cheese , grated
    1 stick margarine, melted
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp vanilla
    3 c.unsweetened canned appple slices

    mix together cheese, margarine,sugar, flour and vanilla.Put apples in a greased casserole dish. Pour mixture over the apples. Sprinkle additional cheese on top if desired. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350� do not cover when baking.
