    Because scallops and scrod are my favorite New England seafood, I may tend to overload on the recipes for them.

    List of Ingredients




    1 lb. scallops
    1/2 cup butter
    1 cup cracker crumbs
    3 slices of white bread
    1 cup light cream
    salt and pepper

    Recipe



    Crumb bread in blender or food processor. Melt butter and add crackers and bread crumbs.
    Put a layer of crumbs in a small casserole dish; cover with scallops. Add half the cream salt and pepper.Repeat layers.
    Bake at 350� for 25 minutesor until scallops are firm but tender.
    Serve immediately.

    Note: I serve with rice
